A magnetically controllable, or guided, carrier composition and methods of use and productions are disclosed, the composition for carrying biologically active substances to a treatment zone in a body under control of a magnetic field. The composition comprises composite, volume-compounded ferrocarbon particles of 0.2 to 5.0 µm in size, and preferably between 1.0 and 4.0 µm, containing 1.0 to 95.0% by volume of carbon, and preferably between about 20 and 50%. The particles are produced by a joint deformation of a mechanical mixture of iron and carbon powders. The obtained particles are placed in a solution of a biologically active substance to absorb the substance onto the particles. The combination is administered in suspension.
Composition vecteur pouvant être magnétiquement régulée ou guidée, et procédés d'utilisation et de production de cette composition. Celle-ci est utilisée pour transporter des substances à activité biologique vers une zone de traitement dans un corps, de façon régulée par un champ magnétique. La composition comprend des particules de ferrocarbone composites, combinées en volume, présentant une dimension comprise entre 0,2 et 5,0 mum, et de préférence entre 1,0 et 4,0 mum, et contenant de 1,0 à 95,0 % en volume de carbone, de préférence d'environ 20 à 50 %. Les particules sont produites par une déformation conjointe d'un mélange de poudres de fer et de carbone. Les particules obtenues sont placées dans une solution d'une substance à activité biologique afin que cette dernière soit absorbée par les particules. La combinaison est administrée en suspension.
