The integrated circuit card (1) proposed by the invention is intended to facilitate the calculation of bonus points by having the card reader send the card an identity (I1) during a transaction. This identity allows the card to recognize (12) the type of service supplier or vendor in each case, and to implement a set of rules unique (5, 11) to this supplier or vendor or, in the absence of such rules, to use standard rules set by the issuer of the card. These rules calculate the bonus points specific to the supplier in question. The bonus points are then cumulated in a counter also reserved exclusively for the same supplier.
Pour faciliter la prise en compte de points de gratification, on préconise que le lecteur qui effectue une transaction avec une carte (1) à circuit intégré envoie à cette carte une identité (II). Cette indentité permet à la carte de reconnaître (12) à quel type de prestataire de service ou de vendeur elle a affaire, et de mettre en oeuvre un jeu de règles spécifiques (5, 11) à ce prestataire ou ce vendeur, ou à défaut des règles standards de l'émetteur de la carte. Ces règles calculent des gratifications spécifiques à ce fournisseur. Ces gratifications sont cumulées dans un compteur spécifique (10, 13) lui aussi à ce fournisseur.
