The invention relates to electrolytic conversion of at least one furane derivative (A) in an electrolytic circuit, comprising steps (i) and (ii): (i) electrolytic oxidation of furane or a substituted furane or a mixture of two or more of said furanes to obtain (a) at least one furane derivative (B) exhibiting a C-C double bond in a heterocyclic five-membered ring and (b) hydrogen, (ii) hydrogenation of said C-C double bond using hydrogen obtained from step (i) in a parallel process occurring at said cathode or external- source hydrogen added to said electrolytic circuit or electrocatalytic hydrogenation. The invention is characterized in that said method is performed in an electrolysis cell which has at least one hydrogenation catalyst.
Procédé de transformation électrolytique d'au moins un dérivé du furane (A) suivant un cycle d'électrolyse comprenant les deux étapes (I) et (ii) ci-après : (i) oxydation électrolytique du furane ou d'un furane substitué ou d'un mélange renfermant ces deux ou plusieurs de ces composés, avec conservation (a) d'au moins un dérivé du furane (B) présentant une double liaison C-C dans un noyau hétérocyclique à 5 chaînons, et (b) d'hydrogène, (ii) hydrogénation de la double liaison C-C en utilisant l'hydrogène obtenu à la cathode, parallèlement, dans l'étape (i), ou de l'hydrogène provenant de l'extérieur à partir du cycle d'électrolyse, ou encore, hydrogénation électrocatalytique, caractérisé en ce que le procédé est effectué dans une cellule d'électrolyse comprenant au moins un catalyseur d'hydrogénation.
