Abstract of the Disclosure A boat trailer having a frame with a tongue section at the front end, a pair of transversely connected frame members at the rear end, a wheel and axle unit supporting the trailer rear end, a unit mounted on the frame for supporting a boat thereon, the improvement comprising an extension unit for telescopic connection to the rear end of each frame member, wherein fastening members for securing the extension unit to the frame member rear ends are substantially covered to provide an aesthetic appearance of the extension structure.
