ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: The baseboard heater spacer has a front portion provided with a connecting device for connecting a baseboard heater to the spacer, a rear portion provided with a wall mounting device for mounting the spacer against an upstanding wall, and a middle portion having a predetermined depth extending between the front and rear portions. When the spacer is used, the baseboard heater is supported at a given height above a floor and at a predetermined distance from the upstanding wall to provide a free air flow passage between the upstanding wall and the baseboard heater. Such a spacer may be integrated in a baseboard heater during manufacture.
