Abstract - Remote Control Impact Protection Bumper I would imagine that you have a hand held remote control device for your television, or your VCR, or your stereo system, or your garage door. I ask you, "How many times have you dropped the remote control device on the floor; or accidently knocked the remote control device off the coffee table?" As you are probably well aware, the hand held remote control devices manufactured today, for televisions, VCR's, stereo systems, garage door openers, etc., are not made durable enough to withstand rough treatment. Based upon the growing demand for televisions, VCR's, stereo equipment, garage door openers, etc., equipped with hand held remote control devices, and the fragile nature of the contruction of the hand held remote control devices, I saw a need for a product that will help protect the hand held remote control devices from accidental breakage; and help ex- tend the user life of the hand held remote control device. The present invention provides a rubberized impact absorbant bumper that is installed around the outer edges of the hand held remote control device. The present invention is a rubberized rectangular shaped impact absorbant bumper designed in such a way the user simply stretches the present invention around the outer edges of the hand held remote control device. The present invention, once installed on a hand held remote control device, will help protect the hand held re- mote control device from accidental breakage, or damage, if the hand held remote control device is dropped, or handled in a rough manner. -2-
