A carton for carrying containers, such as cans, or other articles in two layers which has an interlocking separator pad (110) between the two layers is provided. This separator pad has two tabs (122a, b, c, d) on each end which extend through slots (54) provided on the side end flaps (38, 40, 46, 48) on each end of the carton to hold the separator pad in proper position between two layers of articles or containers. The pad has a leading flap (112) that is folded up or down on one end of the carton between the articles or containers and the side end flaps to assist in holding the separator pad in proper position during the removal of containers from the carton through a dispenser opening formed in the carton. Preferably, the separator pad has a leading flap on both ends to assist in holding the separator pad in proper position. This carton may be provided with a dispenser (b) in the side panel (18) near the end on which the carton is rested to dispense cans. This dispenser may extend into the top panel (22) and the bottom panel (14) so that the ends of the cans can be grasped for easy removal.
La présente invention se rapporte à un emballage en carton conçu pour transporter des contenants, tels que des boites à boisson, ou autres articles en deux couches, ledit emballage comportant un élément séparateur de calage et blocage (110) disposé entre les deux couches. Cet élément séparateur de calage possède deux languettes (122a, b, c, d) au niveau de chaque extrémité, qui font saillie à travers des fentes (54) formées sur des volets terminaux latéraux (38, 40, 46, 48) au niveau de chaque extrémité de l'emballage en carton de manière à retenir l'élément séparateur de calage dans une position correcte entre les deux couches d'articles ou de contenants. Cet élément de calage possède un volet avant (112) qui est plié vers le haut ou vers le bas sur une extrémité de l'emballage en carton entre les articles ou les contenants et les volets d'extrémité latéraux de manière à faciliter le maintien de l'élément séparateur de calage dans une position correcte lors du retrait des contenants de cet emballage en carton à travers une ouverture de distribution formée dans ledit emballage en carton. De préférence, l'élément séparateur de calage comporte un volet avant au niveau de ses deux extrémités pour faciliter le maintien de l'élément séparateur de calage dans une position correcte. Cet emballage en carton peut être doté d'un élément distributeur (b) présent dans le panneau latéral (18) à proximité de l'extrémité sur laquelle l'emballage en carton repose aux fins de la distribution des boîtes à boisson. Cet élément distributeur peut faire saillie vers l'intérieur du panneau supérieur (22) et du panneau inférieur (14) de sorte que les extrémités des boîtes à boisson puissent être saisies et retirées facilement.
