ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention provides an interstage screen apparatus comprising a screen cartridge having a mesh wall and a liquid outlet means, a rake for mechanically sweeping the mesh wall to prevent excessive build up of particulate material thereon, the screen cartridge being arranged to be lifted away from the rake and a drive for the rake whilst the rake and the drive for the rake reamin in situ.
