Embodiments of the present method and system permit an effective method for determining the optimum selection of pulse width modulation polarity and type including determining machine parameters, inputting the machine parameters into a predicted duty cycle module, de- termining the optimum polarity of the pulse width modulation for a pre-dicted duty cycle based on a pulse width modulation generation algorithm, and determining the optimum type of the pulse width modulation for a predicted duty cycle based on the pulse width modulation generation algo- rithm.

Linvention concerne, selon des modes de réalisation, un procédé et un système permettant détablir la sélection optimale de la polarité et du type dune modulation de largeur dimpulsion. Le procédé comprend les étapes consistant à établir des paramètres machine ; entrer les paramètres machine dans un module de prédiction de rapport cyclique ; établir la polarité optimale de la modulation de largeur dimpulsion pour un rapport cyclique prédit en fonction dun algorithme de génération de modulation de largeur dimpulsion ; et établir le type optimal de la modulation de largeur dimpulsion pour un rapport cyclique prédit en fonction de lalgorithme de génération de modulation de largeur dimpulsion.
