A hockey stick holder is herein described. The hockey stick holder comprises a beam having a first end and a second end. The first end of the beam is connected to a mounting flange for mounting the hockey stick holder to a vertical surface. The second end of the beam is connected to a plate having fingers extending from the sides of the plate, forming slots for receiving and resiliently gripping this blade of a hockey stick. In operation, the blade of a hockey stick is inserted into the slot such that the handle of the hockey stick depends downward therefrom. As a result of this arrangement, the hockey stick is stably and securely supported, and is therefore less likely to break or warp during storage.
