This invention relates to the preparation of plastic film by the extrusion of a blend of from 95.5 to 98.5 weight % of a homogeneously catalyzed linear low density polyethylene and from 1.5 to 4.5 weight % of a selected high pressure low density polyethylene having a melt index, l2, of from 0.1 to 0.8 grams per 10 minutes. The films produced by this invention have good optical and physical properties and may be extruded at high rates.
