365133 ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: The present invention relates to N-substituted-2- methylnaphthylamides of the general formula Image I, where R1 is Image , R3 being hydrogen or C1-4-alkoxy, and R2 is unsubstituted isoxazolyl, furyl or triazolyl or isoxazolyl, furyl or triazolyl substituted by fluorine, chlorine, bromine, nitro, linear alkyl of 1-4 carbon atoms; methoxy, ethoxy, methylthio, ethylthio, n-propylthio, trichloromethyl, trifluoro- methyl and tetrafluoroethoxy, methoxycarbonyl, acetyl or propionyl, and X is hydrogen, methyl, chlorine or bromine. This invention is further concerned with their processes of preparation. The compounds so obtained are all active as fungicides.
