A joint assembly for flexible and semi-rigid piping (120, 220, 420) such as high density polyethylene piping or the like. The assembly comprises a joint end sleeve (110, 210, 410) and a nut (130, 230, 430). The joint end sleeve (110, 210, 410) comprises in series first (114, 214, 414), second (118, 218, 418), third and fourth co-axial sections of circular cross-sections. The first (114, 214, 414) and second (118, 218, 418) sections are to be disposed within the end of the piping (120, 220, 240). The nut (130, 230, 430), with an internal threaded surface (134, 234, 434), is made of a material harder than the one used in the piping(120, 220, 420) and with a higher or equal hardness than the one on the joint end sleeve (110, 210, 410). The nut (130, 230, 430) is configured to press the end of the piping (120, 220, 420) around the first (114, 214, 414) and second (118, 218, 418) sections

L'invention concerne un ensemble joint pour tuyaux flexibles et semi-rigides, du type en polyéthylène haute densité, etc. L'ensemble comprend un manchon d'extrémité et un écrou.
