A compact coupling reaming apparatus (100) and method for reaming coupling bolt holes (14) of a rotor coupling. The apparatus includes a fixture plate (30) for mounting the apparatus to the face of the coupling via a plurality of the coupling bolt holes. The apparatus also includes a drill (92) axially slidably, radially slidably, and axially rotatably mounted to the fixture plate. During the reaming process, the drill is first aligned with the center of a first coupling bolt hole, the drill having a fixed distance from an axis of the rotor after being aligned with the center of the first coupling bolt hole. After reaming the first coupling bolt hole, the drill is aligned with a center of the holes and all other coupling bolt holes to be reamed by axially rotating the drill to the center of the second coupling bolt hole while maintaining the fixed distance of the drill from the axis of the rotor.
L'invention concerne un appareil compact d'alésage (100) pour des raccordements et un procédé pour réaliser des alésages (14) destinés à des boulons, dans un raccordement de rotor. L'appareil comprend une plaque de fixation (30) pour monter l'appareil sur la face du raccordement par l'intermédiaire d'une pluralité de trous de boulons. L'appareil comprend également un foret (92) pouvant coulisser axialement et radialement, monté axialement, de façon à pouvoir tourner, sur la plaque de fixation. Durant l'opération d'alésage, le foret est aligné d'abord avec le centre d'un premier trou de boulon, le foret se trouvant à une distance fixe d'un axe du rotor, après alignement avec le centre du premier trou de boulon. Après l'alésage du premier trou de boulon, le foret est aligné avec un centre des trous et tous les autres trous de boulons à aléser, cela par une rotation axiale du foret vers le centre du second trou de boulon, la distance fixe du foret par rapport à l'axe du rotor étant maintenue.
