In many automobiles, the seat belt system, which usually comprises of a shoulder belt and a lap belt, is mounted from fixed positions within a vehicle. This invention will allow an independent strap to be attached to the existing lap and shoulder belts. The invention, which can be referred to as a buckle, will have a tongue and a groove which when brought together upon a seat belt will secure the independent strap securely, upon the existing safety restraining system in a passenger vehicle. When secured and connected with the inventions, the newly integrated strap can now be shortened or lengthened by a passenger to allow for increased adjustment of the seat belt system.
