This invention provides a combination, comprising an allosteric inhibitor of MMP-13, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, with celecoxib, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, or valdecoxib, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. This invention also provides a method of treating a disease that is responsive to inhibition of MMP-13 and cyclooxygenase-2, comprising administering to a patient suffering from such a disease the invention combination. This invention also provides a pharmaceutical composition, comprising the invention combination and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, diluent, or excipient. The invention combination may also be further combined with other pharmaceutical agents depending on the disease being treated.
L'invention concerne une combinaison d'un inhibiteur allostérique de MMP-13 ou d'un sel de celui-ci pharmaceutiquement acceptable avec un Celecoxib ou un sel de celui-ci pharmaceutiquement acceptable, ou avec un Valdecoxib ou un sel de celui-ci pharmaceutiquement acceptable. L'invention concerne également une méthode permettant de traiter une maladie sensible à l'inhibition de MMP-13 et de la cyclooxygénase-2, qui consiste à administrer la combinaison de l'invention à un patient souffrant de la maladie précitée. L'invention concerne, en outre, une composition pharmaceutique comprenant la combinaison de l'invention et un vecteur un diluant ou un excipient pharmaceutiquement acceptable. La combinaison peut également être associée à d'autres agents pharmaceutiques en fonction de la maladie à traiter.
