A method for operating two different bonus games (220,230) in a casino game machine (10). The first bonus game (220) is played when a first predetermined orientation of the bonus symbols occurs on a pay line (60). The bonus game (220) has a meter (350) and a path (360) to a goal (310) wherein the path has a number of stopping points. The player advances based on player input from stopping point to stopping point along the path (360) to the goal (310) until either the meter (350) reaches a predetermined value that ends the bonus game (220) or until the goal (310) is reached. The second bonus game (230) is played when a second predetermined orientation of the bonus symbols occurs. The operation of the casino game (20) is further affected by providing a graphic image (G) in the video display (50) of the reels (RI-R5) to affect the play outcome. L'invention concerne un procédé de fonctionnement de deux jeux bonus différents (220, 230) dans une machine de jeu de casino (10). Le premier jeu bonus (220) se joue lors de l'apparition d'une première orientation prédéterminée de symboles bonus sur une ligne de paiement (60). Le jeu bonus (220) présente une jauge (350) et un chemin (360) vers un objectif (310), le chemin possédant un certain nombre de points d'arrêt. Le joueur avance en fonction d'une entrée joueur d'un point d'arrêt à un autre point d'arrêt le long du chemin (360) vers l'objectif (310) jusqu'à ce que la jauge (350) atteigne une valeur prédéterminée qui met fin au jeu bonus (220) ou jusqu'à ce que l'objectif (310) soit atteint.
