A modular filter apparatus (10) is formed from stacked filter modules (10A-10F). Slurry to be filtered flows into the apparatus (10) through a flowmeter (118) and check valve (120) into a header (100). The flow of slurry then branches off through feeders (110) to each of the filter modules (10A-10F). Connected to the header (100) is a slurry supply source (102), a cakewash supply source (1104) and a header drain (108). The modules (10A-10F) are coupled to a hydraulic jack mechanism (24) and an upper strongback (22).

La présente invention concerne un appareil (10) de filtre modulaire composé de modules de filtre empilés (10A-10F).
