A light-incorporated video camera incorporating a video light integrally in a video camera, includes: a video light input switch for instructing turn-on of the video light; and a timer; wherein the video light turned on by instruction from the video light input switch is automatically turned off after the elapse of a time set on the timer. If a switch key of the video camera is operated before the time set on the timer expires, the timer is initialized to continue the turn-on state of the video light. In this video camera, preferably, the switch key is a record/stop switch key of the video camera, the video light is a tungsten halogen lamp, and the timer is a five- minute timer.

L'invention est une caméra vidéo à lampe d'éclairage intégrée. L'appareil comporte un commutateur qui sert à transmettre une instruction d'éclairage, ainsi qu'une minuterie. La lampe, qui est allumée sous l'effet de l'instruction transmise par le commutateur, s'éteint automatiquement quand la période d'éclairage établie par la minuterie est écoulée. L'une des touches de la caméra active un circuit qui commande à la minuterie de laisser la lampe allumée quand cette touche est utilisée avant que la période d'éclairage établie par la minuterie ne soit complètement écoulée. Dans cette caméra, on a choisi de préférence la touche d'enregistrement-arrêt de la caméra comme touche de prolongement de l'éclairage, une lampe à halogène comme lampe d'éclairage et une minuterie à durée de cinq minutes.
