A level (10) and a method of forming such a level (10) are disclosed. The level (10) comprises a body having a measuring surface (11) and a recess (12), a vial (13) positioned in the recess (12) at an angular relationship to the measuring surface (11), and a ring member (20) enclosing the vial (13) within the recess (12), the ring member (20) engaging the vial (13) and the body and fastened to the body, the ring member (20) having a beveled edge (23) forming a funnel-shaped surface (24) defining slope lines (27), the slope lines (27) intersecting the vial (13), whereby the vial (13) is protected by the level (10) and ring member (20) while visibility of the vial (13) is enhanced.
L'invention concerne un niveau (10) et un procédé de fabrication associé. Ce niveau (10) comprend : un corps pourvu d'une surface de mesure (11) et d'un renfoncement (12) ; une fiole (13) disposée dans le renfoncement (12), formant un angle avec la surface de mesure (11) ; et un élément annulaire (20) englobant la fiole (13) à l'intérieur du renfoncement (12). L'élément annulaire (20) vient en contact avec la fiole (13) et le corps, et il est fixé sur le corps. Ledit élément (20) comporte un bord biseauté (23) formant une surface en forme d'entonnoir (24) définissant des lignes inclinées (27). Ces lignes inclinées (27) forment une intersection sur la fiole (13). La présente invention permet de protéger la fiole (13) au moyen du niveau (10) et de l'élément annulaire (20), tout en augmentant sa visibilité.
