Aqueous and non-aqueous systems for cleaning a section of a subterranean well borehole and casing prior to cementing are provided. A series of spacer fluids are introduced into the borehole to displace drilling fluid and to provide clean and water wet casing and borehole surfaces of the cleaned section of borehole. These clean and water wet surfaces will provide superior bonding between cement and the surfaces.

On décrit des systèmes aqueux et non aqueux utiles pour nettoyer une partie d'un trou de forage et un cuvelage de puits souterrain avant d'effectuer la cimentation. Des fluides d'espacement sont introduits dans le trou de forage pour déplacer le fluide de forage et créer ainsi une partie nettoyée dans laquelle les surfaces du trou de forage et du cuvelage sont propres et humides. Ces surfaces propres et humides vont assurer une liaison de qualité supérieure entre le ciment et lesdites surfaces.
