The invention concerns a method for obtaining a highly enriched TGF-.beta. protein fraction in activated form, from a liquid solution rich in proteins said to be soluble in the aqueous phase of milk and/or of whey, said method comprising the following steps: a) adjusting soluble proteins purified at a concentration between 5 to 30 g/litre of solution ; b) precipitating part of the whey proteins by acid treatment of the solution thus obtained to a pH ranging between 4 and 5.5 and at a temperature ranging between 55 ·C and 68 ·C ; c) carrying out a microfiltration of the treated solution by diafiltration, so as to obtain respectively a microfiltration retentate and a microfiltrate, d) reuperating the microfiltration retentate containing the protein fraction highly enriched in TGF-.beta. ; e) drying the microfiltration retentate which has been subjected to diafiltration to obtain a powder highly enriched in TGF-.beta..

L'invention a pour objet un procédé d'obtention d'une fraction protéique fortement enrichie en TGF-.beta. sous forme activée, à partir d'une solution liquide riche en protéines dites solubles de la phase aqueuse du lait et/ou du lactosérum, ledit procédé comprenant les étapes suivantes : a) ajustement des protéines solubles purifiées à une concentration de 5 à 30 g/litre de solution; b) précipitation d'une partie des protéines du lactosérum par traitement acide de la solution ainsi obtenue à un pH compris entre 4 et 5,5 et à une température comprise entre 55 ~C et 68 ~C; c) microfiltration de la solution traitée avec diafiltration, afin d'obtenir respectivement un rétentat de microfiltration et un microfiltrat; d) récupération du rétentat de microfiltration contenant la fraction protéique fortement enrichie en TGF- .beta.; e) séchage du rétentat de microfiltration, diafiltré, afin d'obtenir une poudre fortement enrichie en TGF-.beta..
