A method for increasing security of a cockpit of an aircraft, the method comprising providing a closure apparatus (e.g., at least one of a door, a window and a vane) for a cockpit of an aircraft, providing a lock device operative to lock a lockable element of the closure apparatus, and providing unlocking apparatus operative to unlock the lock device in a presence of a pressure difference of a predefined magnitude between opposite sides of the closure apparatus.

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant d'améliorer la sûreté du cockpit d'un avion. Ledit procédé consiste à fournir : un appareil de fermeture (soit au moins une porte, une fenêtre ou une ailette) pour le cockpit d'un avion ; à fournir un dispositif de verrouillage conçu pour verrouiller un élément verrouillable de l'appareil de fermeture ; et à fournir un appareil de déverrouillage conçu pour déverrouiller le dispositif de verrouillage lorsqu'il existe une différence de pression d'une magnitude prédéfinie entre les côtés opposés de l'appareil de fermeture.
