A press belt with further reduced occurrence of pinholes as well as a manufacturing method of the press belt are provided. The press belt is characterized in that a reinforcing base material containing multifilaments (2) that are impregnated with a bundling agent (12) is buried in an elastic material, and the manufacturing method is a method of manufacturing this press belt. The reinforcing base material is preferably made of a woven fabric and the bundling agent (12) preferably contains as its main component thermosetting resin. As the bundling agent (12), a bundling agent containing as its main component urethane-based resin is suitably used. For the reinforcing base material, organic fibers are preferably used. The bundling agent (12) is preferably applied in the form of emulsion to the multifilaments (2) or the reinforcing base material.

L'invention concerne une courroie de pressage caractérisée en ce qu'un matériau de base de renfort renfermant des filaments multiples (2) imprégnés d'un agent de focalisation (12) est incrusté dans un matériau élastique; ainsi qu'un procédé de fabrication de la courroie de pressage. Le matériau de base de renfort comprend, de préférence, un tissu tissé et l'agent de focalisation (12) comprend, de préférence, une résine thermodurcissable comme composant principal. Comme agent de focalisation (12), un agent renfermant une résine à base d'uréthane comme composant principal est utilisé de manière adéquate. Comme matériau de base de renfort, une fibre organique est, de préférence, utilisée. De plus, l'agent de focalisation (12) est, de préférence, placé à l'état d'émulsion sur les filaments multiples (2) ou le matériau de base de renfort. La courroie de pressage susmentionnée présente une occurrence nettement réduite de trou d'épingle.
