A solenoid operated bleed type port pressure control valve having an operating rod with an annular valuing surface moveable with respect to a valve seat between the control pressure signal port and the exhaust port. An inlet valve seat is formed between the inlet port and the control pressure signal port with a ball valve seated thereon to shut off the inlet. An operating rod connected to the armature extends through the inlet valve seat and opens the ball valve and thereafter the annular valuing surface on the operating control bleed flow to the exhaust and consequently the pressure in the signal outlet port.
