Paper webs that are being wound onto a drum are severed and threaded onto an empty drum with the paper web continually moving. The paper is severed with a tear strip that is thereby wound helically on the empty drum and severs the paper web along a helical line. The tear strip is a strip made from polyamide or polyester with a maximum thickness of 0.6 mm.

La présente invention a pour objet une installation dans laquelle la bande d'un rouleau de papier entraîné par un rouleau porteur est d'abord coupée, puis enfilée sur un rouleau vide sans interruption du défilement de la bande de papier.
