ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A method of securing a skirt to a grain bin which is comprised of the following described steps. Firstly, wrap a lower wall of a grain bin with a flexible skirt of a water impervious compressible material. Secondly, secure the flexible skirt to the lower wall of the grain bin with a band positioned along a top peripheral edge of the flexible skirt. The band is drawn tight such that the flexible skirt is compressed against the grain bin to form a water impervious seal between the flexible skirt and the lower wall of the grain bin.
