A method, apparatus and computer program product for caching data received from a first application and to be provided to a second application in response to a request from the second application. The method, apparatus and computer program products include storing a data stream to be received from the first application and to be provided to the second application in a cache to create a client cache entry corresponding to the request from the second application. The time of creation of a client cache entry is also stored to create a client cache entry time record. Requests from the second application are interrogated to determine if a client cache entry exists corresponding to the request. The client cache entry time record for the client cache entry corresponding to the request from the second application is evaluated to determine if the client cache entry corresponding to the request from the second application was created within a predetermined client coherency time interval prior to the second application requesting the information. The client cache entry is suppplied to the second application in response to the request if a client cache entry for the request from the second application was created within a predetermined client coherency time interval prior to the second application requesting the information.

La présente invention concerne un procédé, un appareil et un progiciel permettant de gérer en antémémoire des données reçues en provenance d'une première application et à remettre à une seconde application en réponse à une requête de la seconde application. Le procédé, l'appareil et le progiciel intègrent une fonction de stockage en mémoire d'un flux de données à recevoir en provenance de la première application et à remettre à la seconde application dans une antémémoire de façon à créer une rubrique antémémoire client correspondant à la requête de la première application. L'heure de création d'une rubrique antémémoire client est également stockée de façon à créer un article d'heure de rubrique antémémoire client. Une consultation des requêtes de la seconde application permet de savoir s'il existe une rubrique antémémoire client correspondant à la requête. L'analyse de l'article d'heure de rubrique antémémoire client associé à la rubrique antémémoire client correspondant à la requête de la seconde application permet de déterminer si la rubrique antémémoire client correspondant à la requête de la seconde application a été créée dans un intervalle de temps de cohérence client prédéfini intervenant avant que la seconde application ne demande l'information. La remise de la rubrique antémémoire client à la seconde application se fait en réponse à la requête si une rubrique antémémoire client associée à la requête de la seconde application a été créée dans un intervalle de temps de cohérence client prédéfini intervenant avant que la seconde application ne demande l'information.
