This apparatus is constituted to soak a polystyrene waste material 5 contained in a container 4 consisting of a water layer 2 at the upper portion and a solvent layer 3 of chlorinated hydrocarbons at the lower portion into the solvent layer 3 forcedly. The foamed polystyrene waste materials 5 can be dissolved swiftly.
