The present invention is directed to a process for addition of amines to carbon-carbon double bonds in a substrate, comprising: reacting an amine with a compound containing at least one carbon-carbon double bond in the presence a transition metal catalyst catalyst under reaction conditions effective to form a product having a covalent bond between the amine and the carbon-carbon double bond. The transition metal catalyst comprises a Group 8 metal and a ligand containing one or more 2-electron donor atoms. The present invention is also directed to enantioselective reactions of amine compounds with compounds containing carbon-carbon double bonds, and a colorimetric assay to evauluate potential catalysts in these reactions.
La présente invention concerne un procédé destiné à l'addition d'amines dans des liaisons doubles carbone-carbone dans un substrat, ledit procédé consistant à faire réagir un amine avec un composé renfermant au moins une liaison double carbone-carbone en présence d'un catalyseur de métal de transition dans des conditions de réaction efficaces pour constituer un produit doté d'une liaison covalente entre l'amine et un atome de carbone de la liaison double carbone-carbone antérieure. Le catalyseur du métal de transition contient un métal du groupe 8 et un ligand renfermant au moins deux atomes donneurs d'électrons 2. Cette invention concerne aussi des réactions énantiosélectives de composés d'amines avec des composés renfermant des liaisons doubles carbone-carbone et un dosage colorimétrique d'évaluation des catalyseurs potentiels dans ces réactions.
