The invention relates to a rubber composition with improved heat resistance and a polynorbornene base including a mixture of at least 50% by weight of polynorbornene and at most 50% by weight of another rubber, said mixture having been vulcanized by an effective quantity of at least one compound: (I) where R1, R2 = CHnX3-n, with X = F, Cl or Br and n = integral from 0 to 2. The invention also relates to a thermoplastic composition including 10 - 90 parts by weight (pp) of at least one crystal polymer (A) with an olefin base, from 90 - 10 pp of a mixture (B) of at least 50% by weight of polynorbornene and at most 50% by weight of another rubber, and a quantity of polynorbornene plasticator which is sufficient to lower its vitreous transition temperature to that of the range of rubber, the sum of (A) and (B) being equal to 100 pp and (B) being vulcanized by means of an effective quantity of at least one compound (I). Application: manufacture of finished products and industrial articles through extrusion, extrusion-blow moulding, injection moulding and compression moulding.
L'invention concerne une composition caoutchoutique de tenue thermique améliorée à base de polynorbornène comprenant un mélange d'au moins 50% en poids de polynorbornène et au plus 50% en poids d'un autre caoutchouc, ledit mélange ayant été vulcanisé par une quantité efficace d'au moins un composé (I): Image où R1, R2 = CH n X3-n', avec X = F, C1 ou Br et n = entier de 0 à 2. L'invention concerne aussi une composition thermoplastique comprenant 10 - 90 parties en poids (pp) d'au moins un polymère cristallin (A) à base d'oléfine, de 90 - 10 pp d'un mélange (B) d' au moins 50% en poids de polynorbornène et au plus 50% en poids d'un autre caoutchouc, et une quantité de plastifiant du polynorbornène suffisante pour abaisser sa température de transition vitreuse jusqu'à la gamme des caoutchoucs, la somme de (A) et de (B) étant égale à 100 pp et (B) étant vulcanisé au moyen d'une quantité efficace d'au moins un composé (I). Utilisation: fabrication de produits finis et articles industriels par extrusion, extrusion-soufflage, injection-moulage et moulages par compression.
