The invention relates to novel substituted diphenyl oxazolines of formula (I) in which R1 is C1-C6 alkylthio halide and R2 is hydrogen or R1 and R2 together with the carbon atoms to which they are bonded are a halogen-substituted 5 or 6-link heterocyclic ring, X is hydrogen, halogen, C1-C6 alkyl or C1-C6 alkoxy, and m is 0, 1 or 2, process for their production, novel intermediate products and the use of the substituted diphenyl oxazolines as pesticides, with the exception of the compound of the formula (a).
