A product carrier (10) for use in ultrahigh pressure processing substances is substantially fluidically closed, and is insulated, to prevent heat transfer from the product being treated to the cooler wall of the pressure vessel. The insulating material (18) has compression heating properties, such that as the product is pressurized, the temperature of the insulation increases as does the temperature of the product and pressure media, thereby helping to prevent heat transfer from the product to the surrounding media and pressure vessel wall.
La présente invention concerne un plateau porteur (10) qui est destiné au traitement de substances à températures ultra-hautes, sensiblement fluidiquement clos, et isolé, de façon à empêcher tout transfert thermique du produit à traiter et la paroi froide du caisson pressurisé. Le matériau isolant (18) a la particularité de se réchauffer par compression. Ainsi la monté en pression fait monter la température de l'isolation de la même façon que le produit et le milieu de pressurisation, ce qui participe à empêcher le transfert thermique du produit vers le milieu environnant et la paroi du caisson pressurisé.
