A valve with a flow adjustment device in the form of a valve stem travel limiter includes a collar having a passage therethrough to receive a valve stem having a projection, the collar further includes a plurality of grooves having different depths. The flow adjustment device may be assembled to a valve stem to permit a plurality of different predetermined valve stem travel limits corresponding to respective different maximum flow capacities of the valve.

L'invention concerne une soupape ayant un dispositif d'ajustement d'écoulement sous la forme d'un limiteur de déplacement de la tige de soupape. Ladite soupape comprend un collier que traverse un passage pour recevoir une tige de soupape ayant une saillie, le collier comprenant en outre une pluralité de gorges ayant des profondeurs différentes. Le dispositif d'ajustement d'écoulement peut être assemblé sur une tige de soupape pour permettre une pluralité de différentes limites de déplacement prédéterminées de la tige de soupape correspondant aux différentes capacités d'écoulement maximales respectives de la soupape.
