ABSTRACT A process and the relevant apparatus for the preparation of sterile injectable powders of antibiotics, wherein a solution of the active principle is atomized and dryed in presence of a sa- lification agent, said sprayed solutions being treated in pre- sence of a cycle of an inert gas. In comparison with the known methods for the production of pharmaceuticals, the process of the present invention has the advantage of including few stages of treatment of the products, the quality and the stability of the antibiotics being not alte- red by the process of the invention which, for this reason, is particularly suitable for the preparation of sterile injectale powders of antibiotics.
