Disclosed is a catalyst injection nozzle that comprises an outer tube with an open end, a nozzle tip with a diameter connected to the outer tube open end, an orifice connected to the nozzle tip internal to the outer tube, an internal mixing zone connected to the orifice internal to the outer tube, an inner tube residing within the outer tube further comprising an open end connected to the internal mixing zone, where a steady-state, uniform two-phase flow regime between an atomizing gas and at least one liquid catalyst feed does not form in the internal mixing zone at an atomizing gas to liquid catalyst feed flow ratio of about 0.05 to about 10.

L'invention concerne une buse d'injection de catalyseur qui comprend un tube externe pourvu d'une extrémité ouverte, une pointe de buse ayant un diamètre connecté à l'extrémité ouverte du tube externe, un orifice connecté à la pointe de buse, de manière interne par rapport au tube externe, une zone de mélange interne connectée à l'orifice, de manière interne par rapport au tube externe, un tube interne situé à l'intérieur du tube externe comprenant en outre une extrémité ouverte connectée à la zone de mélange interne, aucun régime d'écoulement stationnaire uniforme à deux phases entre un gaz d'atomisation et au moins une alimentation en catalyseur liquide ne se formant dans la zone de mélange interne, à un rapport gaz d'atomisation/flux d'alimentation en catalyseur liquide d'environ 0,05 à environ 10.
