16521 PLASTIC CLOSURE AND CONTAINER PACKAGE Abstract of the Disclosure A plastic closure and container comprising a plastic closure having a base wall and a peripheral skirt. The skirt includes threads adapted to engage threads on the finish of a plastic container. The closure includes an annular integral axially extending bead that is adapted to engage the top surface of the finish of the container. The plastic closure further includes an annular bead on the skirt adjacent the bead on the base wall which extends radially inwardly and engages the outer surface of the finish to radially center the annular bead on the base wall with the top surface of the finish of the container.
