A terminal for lamp sockets comprising a U-shaped body formed with two opposite flanges at the top of the U-shaped body, each of the flanges being provided with a first pointed protuberance extending upwardly from the top of the flanges and a second pointed protuberance extending downwardly from the bottom of the flanges, whereby the pointed protuberances at the top of the flanges are fimlly fitted in a top of a lamp socket so that the U-shaped body is used as an electrode for the lamp socket, while the pointed protuberances at the bottom of the flanges are used for piercing through the insulation layer of an electrical cord to contact a conducting wire of the electrical card thereby electrically connecting the electrical cord to the U-shaped body.
