A seminar management system and method for managing a seminar offering over a communication network, where the seminar offering is directed at a customer by a vendor through a partner. The seminar management system includes a vendor interface module, a partner interface module and a portal server. The vendor interface module allows the vendor to post a seminar offering on the portal server over the communication network. The partner interface module allows the partner to associate a number of operational characteristics with the seminar offering over the communication network. The portal server generates a customized seminar offering based on the operational characteristics such that the customized seminar offering reflects the partner's identity. Finally, the portal server provides the partner with the ability to manage the customized seminar over the communication network through automated means.
