In general, the present invention is embodied by a simple coin accepting and dispensing mechanism adapted to be detachably attached, being easily connected by a pull and tie means and being removably arranged in its body that is the vending machine. A coin is dropped into the vending machine that unlocks a normally locked dispensing tray, loaded with the desired product and this unlocked dispensing tray is then pulled outwards manually and held to pick up the dispensed product and simultaneously the coin is collected in the coin box. This dispensing tray when released is pulled back into the vending machine and is again locked, thereby also replacing the dispensed product by the one resting above the latter.
