An integral disposable pull-up absorbent article is provided having elasticated front and back waist portions, an insert member having an absorbent core comprising an elasticated crotch region, and at least one elastic member disposed in the longitudinal direction on each side in the crotch region. The pull-up article also has a pair of leg openings each having a leg cuff comprising a thigh elastic member which does not intersect any of the crotch elastic members. Also provided are disposable pants and briefs of the general structure as the pull- up article described herein, but without an absorbent core member.
