A reinforcement member for a fenestration product including a door assembly comprises an upright plate fixed between the floor and an upwardly spaced header of a building when the product is installed. The framework of the door assembly is secured to the upright plate of the reinforcement member. The reinforcement member further includes structure for securing the upright plate, and thereby the door framework, to the header when the product is installed. The reinforcement member also includes an anchor for anchoring the upright plate, and thereby the door framework, to the floor.
