Said photovoltaically active semiconductor material is a p- or n-doped semiconductor material with mixed compounds of formula (I): (Zn1-xMnxTe)1-y(SiaTeb)y, in which x = a number from 0.01 to 0.99, y = a number from 0.01 to 0.2, a = a number from 1 to 2 and b = a number from 1 to 3.
