ABSTRACT A process for coating a low-resistance paper web (based on used paper) has the following characteristics: the paper is coated on both sides; the paper web is dried after coating. The invention is characterized by the following traits: the coating is applied by two or several coating stations; each individual coating stations applies only part of the total amount of coating, and the partial amounts of coating add up at the end of the total coating process to the total amount of coating; the paper web is dried after each partial amount of coating is applied.
