- 6 - GARBAGE BAG HOLDER ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A garbage bag holder comprises a hoop with two legs arranged at diametrically opposed positions. Each leg includes a sleeve surrounding a portion of the hoop and pivotal relative thereto with the sleeve being confined against movement around the hoop. Each leg is simply an elongate cod with a pointed lower end which can be pressed into the ground. The device can fold simply into flat condition for transportation or storage and can be assembled rapidly to form a rigid structure. The mouth of the bag is wrapped over the hoop with the bag resting upon the ground.
