A process is proposed for producing acyloines of general formula (I) in which Ra and Rb are identical or different and represent hydrogen or a C1-C20 alkyl, a C6-C10 aryl, a C7-C12 aralkyl, a heteroaryl, or a heterocycloalkyl group, these groups being substituted if appropriate, with the exception of formaldehyde autocondensation products. In the proposed process, an aldehyde of formula (II) RaCHO is allowed to react with an aldehyde of formula (III) RbCHO, in which Ra and Rb have the meanings indicated above and at least one of the groups Ra and Rb represents a group other than hydrogen, in the presence of catalysts produced using an auxiliary base from triazolium salts of formula (IV) in which R1 and R3 are identical or different and represent aliphatic groups with 1-30 carbon atoms, or, if appropriate, aryl groups, aralkyl groups and/or heteroaryl groups, these groups being substituted if appropriate; R2 represents hydrogen or the group RbCH(OH); and A is the equivalent of a singly or multiply negatively charged anion for the electrical neutralisation of the triazolium cation charge.
Procédé de fabrication d'acyloïnes de formule générale (I), dans laquelle R?a¿ et R?b¿ sont identiques ou différents et désignent l'hydrogène ou un groupe alkyle en C¿1?-C¿20? éventuellement substitué, un groupe aryle en C¿6?-C¿10? éventuellement substitué, un groupe aralkyle en C¿7?-C¿12? éventuellement substitué, un groupe hétéroaryle éventuellement substitué ou un groupe hétérocycloalkyle éventuellement substitué, à l'exception des produits d'auto-condensation du formaldéhyde, caractérisé en ce qu'on fait réagir un aldéhyde de formule (II) R?a¿CHO avec un aldéhyde de formule (III) R?b¿CHO, formules dans lesquelles R?a¿ et R?b¿ ont les notations précitées, et au moins l'un des restes R?a¿ et R?b¿ désigne un reste autre que l'hydrogène, en présence de catalyseurs qui sont obtenus, au moyen d'une base auxiliaire, à partir de sels de triazolium de formule (IV), dans laquelle R?1¿ et R?3¿ sont identiques ou différents et désignent des groupes aliphatiques de 1 à 3 atomes de carbone, des groupes aryle éventuellement substitués, des groupes aralkyle éventuellement substitués et/ou des groupes hétéroaryle éventuellement substitués, R?2¿ désigne l'hydrogène ou le groupe R?b¿CH(OH), et A est l'équivalent d'un anion chargé négativement une ou plusieurs fois, pour la neutralisation électrique de la charge du cation triazolium.
