ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An exemplary priming assembly comprises a container of priming fluid, a syringe, flow control devices, a vent, a filter element, and a bypass assembly. In one embodiment, flow control devices are adjusted so that priming fluid passes through the bypass assembly and enters the syringe. Flow control device is then adjusted so that gas is expelled through the vent. Flow control devices are then adjusted so that priming fluid is directed into the filter, displacing gas as the priming fluid is returned to the container.
