ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE To mix a gas with a mass flowing continuously through a conduit, the gas is caused to flow from a pressur- ized gas supply into the conduit by way of a nozzle in which the gas expands at a critical pressure ratio; and the pressure of the gas flowing from the nozzle is increased before the gas is introduced into the flowing mass.
