A scrubbing device is formed comprising an absorbent body (19), preferably regenerated cellulose sponge, having affixed on one surface thereof a woven web comprising a woven backing (11) and pile fibers (14) interwoven into the backing. The pile fibers (14) form the scouring surface which has improved non-scratching characteristics and good cleaning properties. The improved non-scratching characteristics are due to the lack of mineral abrasive or hardened resins which bind fibers of the non-woven scrims.
Cette invention concerne un dispositif de brossage comportant un corps absorbant (19), de préférence une éponge de cellulose régénérée, sur une surface duquel est fixé un voile tissé se composant d'un support tissé (11) et de fibres de trame (14) entrelacées dans le support. Les fibres de trame (14) forment une surface récurante possédant de meilleures qualités anti-rayures et de bonnes propriétés de nettoyage. Ces meilleures qualités anti-rayures sont dues à l'absence d'abrasif minéral ou de résines durcies qui lient les fibres ou les gazes non tissées.
