The present invention relates to odor absorbing compositions and their use on skin. The compositions comprise from about 0.1 % to about 5 % by weight of the compositions, of solubilized, water-soluble, uncomplexed cyclodextrin; from about 0.004 % to about 2 % by weight of the composition, of a perfume composition; and an aqueous carrier. The compositions may also comprise either a low molecular weight dimethicone or an oil phase selected from the group consisting of emollients, moisturizers, skin protectants, and mixtures thereof and one or more surfactants. The odor absorbing compositions of the present invention may also, preferably, contain an effective amount of water soluble and/or hydrophobic antimicrobials. The present invention also relates to the odor absorbing compositions deposited on a flexible dispensing means.
L'invention concerne des compositions absorbant les odeurs et leur utilisation cutanée. Ces compositions comprennent environ 0,1 % à 5 % en poids de cyclodextrine hydrosoluble non complexée solubilisée, environ 0,004 % à 2 % en poids d'une composition de parfum et un excipient liquide. Les compositions peuvent comprendre également une diméthicone de faible poids moléculaire ou une phase huileuse sélectionnée dans le groupe constitué d'émollients, d'hydratants, d'agents protecteurs de la peau et de leurs mélanges, ainsi qu'un ou plusieurs tensioactifs. Selon cette invention, les compositions absorbant les odeurs comprennent, de préférence, une quantité efficace d'antimicrobiens hydrosolubles et/ou hydrophobes. La présente invention concerne aussi des compositions absorbant les odeurs, lesdites compositions étant déposées sur un dispositif souple de distribution.
